January was all about getting organised and establishing relationships for the rest of the year. I can’t say it’s ‘done’ because it’s something you work on, all the time. I do feel like it’s become more of a habit though and I’m using a minute or two to file things, delete photos and emails I don’t need and making the time to connect with people. These themed intentions are really working for me.

In February I want to take a step further from all the organising and establishing to actually doing. February’s intention is to ‘do the work’. While getting organised I found that there were things that I kept moving from today’s list to tomorrow, and then a week later they were still on the list. I’ve forced myself to look at these things – is it that I feel pressured into doing it?  (eg learning to drive, which has been on the list for three years, the reality, I don’t want to learn to drive!), or I feel I should but I don’t want to, or have I not broken it down into do-able tasks. This month is about putting my head down and actually doing the work.

If you’re having trouble with your goals or intentions, or getting motivated and just need someone to talk to, you might be interested in my mentoring/coaching program. I got brave a few days ago and wrote about it here with my prices and everything. I spent a lot of time thinking about what doing the work would look like for me, and it’s important to realise what this will mean for you and it will be different from what it looks like for the next person. At the end of the day it’s so important to be kind to yourself.

Are you ready to do the work?
What do you think doing the work will look like for you?
